A quick note on Rowing in the Desert (See previous blog in October). This Saturday, Tempe Town Lake will be hosting the Desert Sprints Regatta. It's going to be a beautiful day and a perfect opportunity to get out to the lake and see this beautiful sport in action.  Desert Sprints

There will be 9 teams participating from the high school level to the Master's level.  5 local teams will be rowing (Tempe Town Lake Rowing, Xavier College Prep, Tempe Junior Crew, Rio Salado Rowing and ASU).  Additionally there will be teams coming in from California, Colorado and Illinois.

The racing starts at 9:00am and goes until 4:00pm.  The venue is the Tempe Town Lake Marina on the North side of the lake.  Bring your lawn chairs and sunscreen.  There will be food and clothing vendors.  Come on out and enjoy a lovely day at the lake watching these amazing athletes.
