It was an opportunity for us to introduce ourselves to our newly identified farming area and to get to know our neighbors. Our intent is to be identified as the experts on homes in this area and to put our faces in front of as many people as possible, understanding that people do business with people they know and trust.
The party was a huge success, with close to 300 people dropping by over a 3 hour period. The Ahwatukee Foothills News did a write up on the party ahead of time and a follow up article afterward.
This was our first foray into marketing of this type. On the surface it seemed very successful, with a lot of people talking Real Estate amongst the sticky, gooey children. It remains to be seen whether any business directly materializes from this venture, but I believe that over the long term, with continued marketing and face to face contact, our farm area will yield business. If not, at least we’ll have had fun and gotten to know our neighbors!
